Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Neumba you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you use Neumba on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to them.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Neumba helps landlords and property managers list units, record leases and tenants, collect rent, issue receipts, track maintenance, and see their returns. Available features depend on your plan and may change as we improve the Service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for how you deal with your tenants and owners, and for meeting your own legal, tax, and licensing obligations as a landlord or agent in Zambia.

Some features are free. Paid plans are billed in Kwacha, monthly or annually, at the prices shown when you subscribe. Optional rent collection ("Neumba Collect") carries a service fee charged to the landlord, never added on top of a tenant’s rent.

Fees are not refundable except where the law requires. We will give reasonable notice before a price change takes effect.

Where you use rent collection, payments are processed by licensed payment providers and settle directly to your own wallet or account. Neumba does not take custody of your rent; we orchestrate the collection and deduct only our fee. Settlement timing and limits depend on the provider.

Do not use Neumba to break the law, to defraud or harass anyone, to upload another person’s data without permission, or to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.

You keep ownership of the records and content you put into Neumba. You grant us the limited rights we need to host and run the Service for you. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Neumba relies on third parties such as payment, messaging, and hosting providers. Their own terms apply to their parts of the experience, and we are not responsible for their actions or outages.

You can stop using Neumba at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or creates a risk to others. You can export your records before closing, and we may keep some data where the law requires.

Neumba is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and nothing in the Service is legal, financial, or tax advice.

To the extent the law allows, Neumba is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

We may update the Service and these terms. When a change is significant we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use Neumba after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and the courts of Zambia have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
